"My work is about memory and history, both personal and collective, and the area in which the two intersect. I am interested in representing the human condition by using the objects we leave behind. Many of my installations address the themes of Jewish history and the Holocaust, which cast a deep shadow over my childhood despite the fact that my family had immigrated to this country before the war. Other pieces are interactive book installations which invite the viewer to participate by reading the books. "
